I, p. 205-206.
Translation:"Mathilde was born in 1027, apparently in Oosterbecke, in the country of Gelderland, her mother traveling to join her husband in Utrecht, cf. Bresslau, Jahr pyre, op. cit., t. I, p. 205-206. She was engaged in 1033, died in Worms in 1034, and was buried there, in the cathedral. It was said to be of extraordinary beauty."
- The Bautier source(you posted then deleted from Henry I of France talk page) also states Matilda dies in 1034.--"Anne de Kiev, Reine de France, et la Politique Royale au XIe Siecle: Étude critique de la documentation", Robert-Henri Bautier, Revue des études slaves, Vol. 57, No. 4 (1985), page 543.
Conrad II, 990–1039: Emperor of Three Kingdoms, page 38.
- "The older daughter born of her marriage to Conrad II, Beatrix, died on September 26, 1036, and the younger daughter, Matilda, who was engaged to Henry I of France, died in early 1034."
- I would strongly suggest instead of copy and pasting sources from websites, that you provide quotes that support what you are saying. --Kansas Bear (talk) 00:37, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
