Social media marketing?

[edit]

While Coors certainly use social media to promote their brands, Madri has only become a major brand in the UK because international lager brewers sell slates of keg beer brands to pub chains. Madri just replaced something else in Coors' 4.5% category, trading on vaguely 'craft' marketing. The British mass market lager sector is completely cynical, with interchangeable licensed lager brands being introduced and deleted every few years. Ef80 (talk) 18:48, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Probably true, but will obviously need sourcing. In the meantime I've removed "social media" from the Marketing section. Apart from a mention of Instagram, it wasn't supported by the reference. Barry Wom (talk) 09:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
