An arbitrary change

The user Michael Bednarek reverted my change as "doubly malformed", though some WP:RS — such as 1, 2, 3 — straightly call that song (and the like ones) as "Lullaby". --Tamtam90 (talk) 15:24, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edits subsequent to your revert repaired your entry's three deficiencies for a DAB page (a. no obscuring by piping; b. only 1 link; c. 'Lullaby' is not German). I would have repaired those myself if I didn't think this entry for Wiegenlied (Des Knaben Wunderhorn) doesn't belong on this page which is named 'Lullaby' and this song is not so named. The sources you give above all refer to Brahms's Lullaby which is widely known by that name; the "Wiegenlied" from Des Knaben Wunderhorn is not. But what says the first link??? Words from "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" ("Wiegenlied"). And how do you translate the word "Wiegenlied " into English? Or, according to your opinion, we must remove from here the novel by Tolstoy — because, in Russian, that word would be "Voskreséniye/ Воскресение", not Resurrection? --Tamtam90 (talk) 10:20, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As long as that article is named "Wiegenlied (Des Knaben Wunderhorn)", it has no place on the disambiguation page "Lullaby"; it should be, and is, on Wiegenlied (disambiguation). A more comprehensive List of lullabies page would list lullabies, Wiegenlieder, berceuses, vuggeviser, or whatever the local term might be. There are 70 entries in Category:Lullabies, and almost none of them are listed on this DAB page (although quite few should be). The article on Tolstoy's novel is called "Resurrection" (as is of course its most common English publication title), that's why it's listed at Resurrection (disambiguation). -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:02, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
