Kurtis the barman

[edit]

shouldn't he be listed as a extra as he has appeared multiple times in Sharon's bar? Also shouldn't he be listed as one in the list of characters? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.249.197.85 (talk) 21:54, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Willis in EastEnders

[edit]

Not sure if this is relevant for the section on his character Luke, but he auditioned for a "relative of Alfie Moon" in 2011 (probably Anthony Moon). –anemoneprojectors09:34, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not a relative. Stacey's boyfriend Luke Riley (Matt Willis) — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 11:59, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Of course I knew he was playing Luke, but Willis also auditioned in 2011 to play a "relative of Alfie Moon", and just wondered if that was relevant to be included in Luke's section. –anemoneprojectors16:20, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stan Carter correction

[edit]

"Stan Carter[edit] ...... He made his first screen appearance towards on 27 January 2014."

Anyone with more knowledge care to correct?76.170.88.72 (talk) 10:12, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No problem about the phrasing as it is easier to remember some of that when you hear it while visiting.76.170.88.72 (talk) 16:50, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I thought about the alley way as why would someone be mugged and lying on the floor of the cellar. Didn't want to change barrol on my own just in case there was some "unique" situation with the beer business lingo there that by example I've come to know through my barback friends here; and since if it might be a typo could not readily be found with the e replaced by an o. If it had been any of the letters around the e ......76.170.88.72 (talk) 17:09, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Aunt Babe a regular?

[edit]

Is there a citation for Babe Smith being a regular character? There's no source for this classification currently, and her screen appearances so far have been the very definition of "recurring". U-Mos (talk) 10:15, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

She certainly does look to be recurring. –anemoneprojectors16:22, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Emma Summerhayes

[edit]

Emma was not a minor character or a recurring character, she was a main character and therefore the correct amount of information should be included. The previous edition did not include important information (which is key to storylines) about how she died, how she found out about Lucy's killer and doesn't even mention that she got sacked. It would be absolutely wrong not to include this. This is not irrelevant information. Thank you.--86.144.245.7 (talk) 15:47, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stan, Aleks & Aunt Babe

[edit]

A minor thing, but why are their profile pictures of the actors rather than the characters? It seems a bit confused when the page is talking about the characters and not the actors. --Ienteredausername (talk) 14:48, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images (of characters) are not allowed in list articles (WP:NFLISTS). We have free images of these actors, so they can be used. We usually use free images of actors in character articles. For example, Mick Carter contains a fair use image of the character, and a free one of the actor. –anemoneprojectors07:46, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Beth

[edit]

Should we put her to "former; recurring" now? I'm going to guess that she won't be re-appearing any time soon given that both her mum and dad have now left.--5 albert square (talk) 19:59, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Both parents have left, so very unlikely she will appear. –anemoneprojectors21:14, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lee Carter

[edit]

Shouldn't Lee have his own main page now? He's almost been in EastEnders for two years, and has the big depression storyline going on. He seems perfectly eligible? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TommyGiffen (talkcontribs)

The trouble is that is the only big storyline he has had that is his own.--5 albert square (talk) 20:44, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Someone needs to be willing to put the effort into establishing notability. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:08, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Reverts

[edit]

Why have the edits I made to the minor characters at the bottom of the page been deleted? I was updating them and adding valid sources to the characters. Isn't deleting sources vandalism? Someone vandalized the page.82.47.191.23 (talk) 18:27, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't vandalism, it was a good faith revert from an administrator. Please assume good faith. You've reinstated your edits, which are accurate, so thank you. AnemoneProjectors 17:46, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sylvie

[edit]

I was just looking at the easetenders credits on the BBC 1 website and Sylvie was with the regular characters while Ricky and Amy etc. were at the bottom. Does that mean that we should change her from recurring to regular. Aacfsftw (talk) 19:31, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I had assumed we would already have done this, as she's clearly been a regular throughout 2017, and potentially also in 2016. So if it hasn't already been done, it should be. anemoneprojectors 14:33, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Elaine Peacock - regular or recurring?

[edit]

Maria Friedman appeared as Elaine in guest stints from October to December 2014 and February to March 2015, but then for three months from September 2015 to January 2016 when she moved into the Vic. Three months is usually a regular contract, and she would have definitely signed a contract for that time period, so I think this makes her a regular character for that period. An anonymous editor has changed it back to recurring, because "any regular characters are given character pages on the BBC EastEnders website, which Elaine was not", but if the actress had a three month contract, it would still make her a regular, regardless of any character page or cast card or dressing room or whatever. She appeared in 42 episode throughout 2015, which is more than all other recurring characters that year apart from Bobby Beale. So I would like to hear from other people on this subject, because I'm happy to have my mind changed if I'm wrong. anemoneprojectors 08:36, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say Elaine was a recurring character as she never lived on the Square nor did she appear on a regular basis. She just kind of came and went every once in a while and she wasn't part of many big storylines. SamLaws81101 (talk) 16:27, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lee Carter infobox not embedded

[edit]

Does the infobox for Lee Carter's section look broken for anyone else? I looked at the source but I'm not sure what could be wrong. CopperyMarrow15 (talk) 22:11, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Finally fixed! Some IPs had removed a break line and this broke the infobox. Thank you for bringing our attention to it! They also added some incorrect info...So annoying!! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 23:54, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Speaking of Lee Carter.
With the amount of storyline he has and the size of his section. Is it time he received his own stand alone wikipedia page like Nancy and Johnny?
I've noticed characters like Mila Mawa, Jags Panesar and Aaron Monroe have received ones despite being in the show less than a year. Lee should have one. GuyFromEE (talk) 21:49, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
