Jeanne Terrell

[edit]

I was reading an old Billboard magazine (1971 October 9th) and they spelled her name as Jeanne Terrell. Should I mention that she her was name sometimes spelled Jeanne? Thanks for the link, though it's safe to say her name is correctly spelled as Jean Terrell. Best, --Discographer (talk) 06:37, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Terrell Contracted as a Soloist Never as a Member of The Supremes... .

[edit]

Quite accurately, Terrell was never contracted as a member of The Supremes as neither was Birdsong after she replaced Ballard. When the original Supremes' contact expired, January of 1971, Wilson was contracted as a soloist. Hence, contractually, after January of 1971, they was no Supremes contracted but three soloists who were allowed to perform under the Group Name of The Supremes.
