The Approaches to International Law is ment to be an article that would provide a brief overview and group together the various approaches to international law. Third World Approaches to International Law is already an existing article on Wikipedia but it is not the only approach. Approaches to International Law examines the other existing perspectives and does not necessarily persuade people to use them. It is also not ment to be an essay but simply a summary of each approach, and since the subject is law, the language is tends to be a bit complicated. Please consider the value of this article because it was made to clarify and simplify very confusing ideas in law.

I changed the title from "Approaches to international law" to "International legal theory" to describe better its current content. I´m still working on the IR approaches and the policy oriented approaches need to be cleared up a bit. --Bonifacius 14:46, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
I added a section on the clasical approaches, moving some infomation from the Public international law page. This section, though, needs to be improved further and need references.--Bonifacius 14:39, 19 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by BonifaciusVIII (talk • contribs)
Hi, I'm a doctoral researcher, I would suggest "International legal theories" rather than "international legal theory". You are dealing in your article with too many theories.--Rezak001 (talk) 14:04, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
