Sheffer according to Bertrand Russell
[edit]I recall reading in Russell's works somewhere that Harvard had given Sheffer a tenured position on the strength of the stroke notation discussed in this article. Sheffer then put his feet up and never again did anything of significance in logic and philosophy. Tex 19:44, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I was reading this for class, came across a short bio on Sheffer, and came here to read more. About half of the Wikipedia entry is lifted word for word from the bio in that book (or the book's bio was lifted from Wikipedia - but that seems less likely).
