Article does not need to be deleted
[edit]This article does NOT meet the criteria for speedy deletion. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion Instead this article needs to be expanded with help. User "WikiManOne" appears to be according to his discussion page, "but to expend your energy blanking out sections of the other academies' sites is perhaps not done in the best spirit. Please consider a more productive approach, rather than simply undoing other people's work. Some of your edits are on point-- but the trend I've noted for your work is to blank and tag elsewhere other than at SVA." 74.241.153.169 (talk) 23:57, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- I appreciate your critique. I would note that I have actually expanded a number of academy articles other than SVA and am actually in the process of writing one for an academy hither to not listed at this time. If you would like to work on this article and bring it up to par, I would suggest you create a user name to do so. This school is not regionally accredited therefore it does not automatically have notability. The article is also written in a promotional tone meaning it can be deleted through speedy deletion. Sources
[edit]The article largely lacks sources and citations as required by Wikipedia standards. The several in the Intro are to the SDA denominational education system—which does not include this school as Harbert Hills Academy is independent and self-supporting. Since they don’t apply, those links are confusing. (Additionally, several of the links are dead.) Given that the article is not written to Wikipedia standards, it does bring up the question of notability. People can get the same info by visiting the school’s website.
