[edit]To all IP and new editors, Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum is very well alive and don't be confused with Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum who died recently. Thanks Ayub407talk 15:56, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
Bisexuality
[edit]"Still considered among the world’s handsomest and most eligible princes, Wikileaks exposed documents written by American diplomats stating that the heir to Dubai’s throne was an out of control drug addict that’s been in and out of rehab for years, and that he’s a bisexual party boy that enjoys flying in male and female escorts to his father’s desert kingdom for weekend orgies."[1] WikiBulova (talk) 15:06, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't think his sexual orientation should be included in the article. His sexual orientation doesn't add or remove value from the article. Unless
theirthere is evidence of him doing things for/against the LGBT+ community, I don't think it's relevant enough. TatuJoey (talk) 13:57, 24 January 2018 (UTC)- Personal life of the subject is normally considered relevant in biographies. Surtsicna (talk) 14:05, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- I am lucky to have been scammed or catfished by someone claiming to be him. It introduced me to a prince of poetry and passion and i wish you could understand that Fazza is not defined by his sexuality but by his character that you can embrace if tou read his poetry. I now want to meet the real guy as my heart is warm from his realness and its rare to find a light that shines so bright.
- a guy from San Diego California will always be glad he met the Prince even if it was only a faker it still opened up a world of possibilities. 2600:8801:9A26:A500:7128:7188:2ACF:4F5 (talk) 07:07, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Poetry name / Nickname
[edit]The the first paragraph, the name is "Fazza", but under the paragraph "Personal Life", it's "Faz'za". Which one is it? If they are both interchangeable, one should be used throughout the article, not both. TatuJoey (talk) 13:54, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

Shaikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum (m. 2019) Marriage Contract signed on May 15, 2019. On June 6, 2019 Contract sealed June 6, 2019. HRH officially divorced Shaikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum on October 13, 2019.
Hamdan does not have any wife confirm to me by hamdan his cousin keeps changing the Wikipedia because she's jealous because he has a true love please make sure that is known instead of letting shaikha keep changing it to lies they are most certainly divorce on 13 October 2019 he did not marry any American woman 10987abc (talk) 06:22, 2 July 2020 (UTC) HH Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum was married to an American on May 21 & May 22, 2019 in the Holy City of Mecca, Saudi Arabia with his parents in attendance and as witnesses. There is documentation and the records are in Mecca. The contract was sealed and the marriage was recorded. Someday an excellent investigative reporter shall reveal these truths to the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nancy Bernadette Eckert (talk • contribs) 13:14, 10 July 2020 (UTC) Hi Nancy I work for the palace and hamdan has no American wife if you believe it's you then please provide documentation on here please as hamdan doesn't know who you are 10987abc (talk) 06:52, 11 July 2020 (UTC) talk:10987abc, It is said that The Palace does not know you. You do not seem to speak in the form that would address the Palace or HH Prince Hamdan. I do not believe you work for the Palace. I worked in Government and Public Affairs and what you present is not how it is done. HH Prince Hamdan may not know who I am but he does know his American wife. When he wishes he will present to the world documentation re same. Until then, a seasoned investigative reporter can easily access the records in Mecca. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nancy Bernadette Eckert (talk • contribs) 07:28, 22 July 2020 (UTC) Nancy don't be so judgemental to someone you don't know personally it's clear that you are taking about you being the American wife I highly doubt you worked in public affairs or you would have the knowledge on how to find out the truth instead of posting on a public page hamdan himself has added a note here confirming he has only a true love he's kept secret I'm sure you will read it he has also continued to say through poems for two years he has no wife or other woman except his secret beloved also trying to figure out why you say he married you in mecca when he can only marry in dubai have a nice day Meme3838 (talk) 04:52, 26 July 2020 (UTC) She is correct he DOES have an American wife since 2017. This is a WELL KNOWN FACT amongst his ENTIRE FAMILY and friends. 2020Editor (talk) 05:26, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Wives, ex-wives, family members, palace employees, members of HH's court and and anyone else--- please do not try to edit based on personal knowledge, personal relationships, inside knowledge, public records, or not so public records, etc. This is an encyclopedia, all content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." Thanks, --Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:51, 27 July 2020 (UTC) You’re not making sense you say regardless if it’s public record or not so public record. The sources aren’t fact checking which is a problem 2020Editor (talk) 21:01, 27 July 2020 (UTC) Just because someone piggybacked off another media outlets news and added a few of their own twists doesn’t make it reliable. I think you should do REAL FACT checking and remove all sources 2020Editor (talk) 21:03, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
If anyone goes to the originsl source of claim they will see this: “UAE to celebrate today the official wedding ceremony of Dubai Crown Prince, and his two brothers, Sheikh Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Ahmed, chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation” Source: Government of Dubai Media Keeping in mind: No brides were listed ever. Also keeping in mind a CELEBRATION OF THE ELDERS occurred which was a celebration for historical marriage of the Al Maktoum families. As stated, there have NEVER been ANY female brides listed from ANY official source. The addition of female names were mere speculation and grossly incorrect 2020Editor (talk) 21:04, 27 July 2020 (UTC) You should remove all reference materials that list any names of any brides because if you in fact did check the facts and if the sources are reliable enough to publish then you’ll find the sources you claim are reliable you’ll find them rubbish. As stated, the original source never listed any female names. 2020Editor (talk) 21:09, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
The source listed as reference. This is not the press release. The source provided has added their own speculation. The only source provided officially for any and all media lists only the three brothers. So your source is incorrect and not verifiable information. It is mere speculation and additions to what was provided as original source document. Therefore, inaccurate and invalid. 2020Editor (talk) 21:16, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Also there are hundreds of Sheikh Hamdans’ They would need to refrence full spelled out title each time his name is used. Clearly rubbish reporting and grossly inaccurate. 2020Editor (talk) 21:18, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
The correct name is Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. That is his title and full name. Abbreviated names are incorrect as are partial names. Perhaps you need to check your professional ethics codes in reporting as well as proper reporting and proper spelling of names if you’re going to use a source you consider reputable. Obviously you have a political interest so perhaps you should be prevented from editing on the subject 2020Editor (talk) 22:34, 27 July 2020 (UTC) Correction: Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is the correct title and name. Simply saying Sheikh Hamdan is incorrect. Too ambiguous 2020Editor (talk) 22:36, 27 July 2020 (UTC) |
Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum did marry his cousin, Shaikha Shaikha Bint Saeed Bin Thani Al Maktoum, with their marriage being sealed 6 June 2019 and they divorced 13 October 2019. Grammar issues in the sentences regarding wives and children
[edit]These sentences seem to have grammatical errors. Also, due to the length of the wife's name, the first sentence is difficult to read even without the lack of a verb. Maybe something like "x was/were born to him and *Her Long Name* on May 20," if that is what's being reported here.:
His first twins by his wife HRH Princess Shahnaz bint Abdul-Aziz bin Salman al saud of Saudi Arabia Rashid and shaikha twins born on the 20th of may 2021.
and
His first were born His third child with Shaikha, a son, Mohammed, was born on 25 February 2023.
I am not sure of the facts so I don't want to try to edit these. Iamhswarden (talk) 02:51, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
