The first thing I would do is check all the references and make sure they're all working; see WP:DEADREF if you're not familiar with this. The recent reformatting/rewording look great. We (read: you) might need to go through the references to make sure that everything is cited and we don't have unsourced information. What's your goal here, to bring to B-class, GA, etc? Thanks Tan, all the refs are live because I just read and added them now. The previous incarnation was solely from the military bio. My goal was simply working through the backlog. Out of habit I Google and I saw he'd held a number of notable positions and seemed notable from his civilian work and military honors -- I don't know how to determine notabily from a military career.
