Jason Delaney
[edit]Who is Jason Delaney? Every single google hit that comes up in association with "ethics" is a copy of this wikipedia article. --George100 00:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
WARNING article quality

I am marking
[edit]this page for deletion, as the only sources about ethical calculus come directly from here, or are used as such a broad term that they can not possibly refer to any concrete method. There are two I have found; one is a personal insight and theory (but not by anyone named Jason Delaney and not citing any sort of usable information) and one that is simply a copy of the Wikipedia article onto someone's page for a college. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zenmaintenance (talk • contribs) 05:16, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Also
[edit]If anybody has any sources for this page or reliable information on ethical calculus but no time, post it up as a reference on the page and I'll make it happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zenmaintenance (talk • contribs) 05:41, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Related to Moral Calculus?
[edit]I have heard this term used in my undergraduate philosophy class to refer generically to the Utilitarian theories for calculating the moral utility of an act. I'm not sure how it relates to the term "Moral calculus" which seems to be a synonym in my mind and I'm not entirely clear on the distinction. A google search for "moral calculus" will turn up many results. I'm not sure if there ought to be a separate moral calculus article (which itself references Felicific calculus) and that this should feed into that one or how it all works, but there should certainly be a reference somewhere.
How about
[edit]How about we just do away with this one for now, unless something else shows up, and create the moral calculus page? If it turns up so many more results, there ought to be more options for references. And felicific calculus, to my understanding, is one method of this type of calculus, so we could just reference each other in links and such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zenmaintenance (talk • contribs) 03:45, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
