Hi, I have a COI with this page (I was related to the subject) so I'm following WP:DISCLOSE and suggesting edits on the talk page (and choosing not to use {{request edit}} right now because of the backlog and just talk to page watchers instead). I was hoping that mention could be made of something that I believe is germane to her encyclopedic notability: on March 20, 2019, the Massachusetts State Senate adjourned in her memory, with a citation that focused on her volunteer work. Here's a link to the journal of the senate from that day (NOTE: This link auto-downloads a ~140 KB PDF; if you don't want the auto-download, this link might work to find a text copy of the PDF). I was just writing a page about an academic (the hopefully-soon-to-be-blue-linked Virginia Emerson Lewis) who had a day named in her honour by the governor, and remembered something similar happened with Elaine that should probably be on her Wiki page. Thanks for considering the request, and of course I'll understand if an editor judges that my COI is distorting my judgment and the request is not followed. - Astrophobe (talk) 23:49, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
