Is there really any point in having a Discography section? The only release is already mentioned in the 'Singing career' section and doesn't seem particularly notable, since half the table is empty? JezGrove (talk) 21:20, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I propose merging A Bloom in Vain and Other Songs into Dia Chakravarty. The album has been tagged as non-notable for more than three years. Of the three cited sources, the Dhaka Tribune review counts towards notability. The Asian Voice interview does not. The New Age article, although not precisely a press releases, is based on a press conference promoting the launch of the album, and contains quotes from the singer and an executive of the record label. As such, it does not count towards WP:NALBUM because of the restrictions on criterion #1.
Searches of the usual Google types, plus EBSCO, Gale, and ProQuest, in English and Bengali, found no independent, reliable sources beyond the Dhaka Tribune review. Therefore I do not believe a stand alone article about the song would survive if taken to Articles for deletion.
The content in the album article can easily be explained in the context of the singer biography, and a merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems there.Worldbruce (talk) 22:57, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
