Play and film
[edit]Unless anyone objects, I'd like to separate the existing article into two: one on the film, using the relevant info on the present page, and another (much expanded) on the original play. The screen version is so very different from the play that it is, I think, misleading to try to represent them as essentially the same work. Tim riley (talk) 10:49, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it is better to separate them. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:08, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I've gone and done the deed. Please beef up the film history and plot at the film article. -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:42, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Good work! Alas, I cannot add anything to the film article, as I haven't seen the film and can't find much on it in the NC shelf of my bookcases. Coward clearly didn't think much of it from the comment we quote in the article. Tim riley (talk) 18:37, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Plot summary
[edit]That'll learn me to work from memory. I have just re-read the play and realised that I had telescoped the two scenes of Act III into one. Now remedied. Tim riley (talk) 17:52, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
