[edit]This article is poorly written. It has poor grammar, sentence structures and is difficult to comprehend for readers who are not familiar with CIHS. Can someone with better command of English rewrite this article. Otherwise, it might give a stronger reason for others to criticise CIHS students for their commmand of English. I decided to remove the content, the topic is too difficult. L joo 22:27, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Mass removal is rarely the answer. I'll try to clean it up, and take the contents from Education in Malaysia - Skoban 01:12, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity…
[edit]Do the Chinese schools in Malaysia teach simplified characters? —Wiki Wikardo 22:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, they do. In fact, all schools in Malaysia that offer Chinese language classes teach simplified characters. --Joshua Chiew 07:46, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Importance
[edit]I've went ahead and added this article's importance as Mid because Chinese Independent High School is a type of school which contributes a lot in building a strong independent society in Malaysia which is independent of the government. Kristalyamaki 09:37, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Capitalization
[edit]Is it necessary to capitalize each word in "Chinese Independent High School"? IMO, only "Chinese" should be capitalized because 1. the term is not a proper noun (i.e. the name of a school) but a term for a group of schools with a common identity, and 2. the term is not an official term. If anyone agree with me I will list the page for request move.--Joshua Say "hi" to me!What I've done? 16:14, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
