Website gives security error about malware
[edit]When I attempt to view the webpage listed in the info box I instead get a page with:
"The site ahead contains malware. Attackers currently on www.rkmissionbaranagar.org might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer that steal or delete your information (for example, photos, passwords, messages, and credit cards). Learn more..."
I'm going to remove the Url from the info box. It shouldn't be restored until this malware issue is resolved. Gab4gab (talk) 16:21, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
- On October 29, 2018 the URL was restored to the info box and added as an external link with no discussion. I've again removed it with hidden text mentioning discussion here on the talk page. Gab4gab (talk) 14:55, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
- On February 7, 2019 the URL was restored to the info box and added as an external link with no discussion. I've again removed it with hidden text mentioning discussion here on the talk page. Gab4gab (talk) 12:54, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- And restored again. [1] list 94 infections (past 12 months) and categorizes this as a malware site. ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 14:58, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

I've had a look at this. The URL that was in the infobox in August 2018 was www.rkmissionbaranagar.org, and it still is classified as high risk. However, the URL currently there, rkmbaranagore.org, is low risk. So this problem seems to be resolved. Best wishes, Pol098 (talk) 18:40, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Tags: peacock, COI
[edit]I have tagged the article as Peacock. This is discussed in MOS:PUFFERY. The example there of peacockery is
Bob Dylan is the defining figure of the 1960s counterculture and a brilliant songwriter.
The article has unreferenced statements such as
the great hero and saint Vivekananda had elevated himself like a phoenix from the ashes – his divine preaching had enchanted the young mind.
Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School has become an embodiment of the ideology 'service and welfare through education', since its initiation in 1912, on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. Since then, through selflessness and service to the mankind, this organization so successfully caters the spiritual genre, convened by Lord Sri Ramakrishna, in every possible way.
I have tagged the article as WP:COI. The guideline says
Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. Any external relationship can trigger a conflict of interest. That someone has a conflict of interest is a description of a situation, not a judgement
Looking at the article history, the great majority of edits are by User:Rishav2014; the same user has removed the tags on the article without comment.
Some of the text would seem not to be neutral (WP:NPOV); e.g.
Bengal became turbulent and agitated like "Nataraj" with the waves of anti-partition movement and this turbulence had given birth to a number of brave dreamers who were inspired by the paradigm of Swami Vivekananda. Sri Yogindnanata Tagore, a disciple of Swami Brahmananda (Rakhal Maharaj) – a brave soldier of the anti-British movement
Regarding the tags and their removal, WP:DETAG says
If the person placing the tag has explained their concerns on the talk page, then anyone who disagrees should join the discussion and explain why the tag seems inappropriate. If there is no reply within a reasonable amount of time (a few days), the tag can be removed by any editor without a conflict of interest. If there is disagreement, then normal talk page discussion should proceed, per consensus-building.

Official name
[edit]School's official name is "Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School (H. S.)" after inauguration of higher secondary section in 2018. So, don't remove the bold name at the starting of the page.
Copyright violation
[edit]There seems to be a significant copyright violation in this article (Violation Suspected, 76.2% similarity), from this Web page, which has an explicit copyright notice. I haven't done anything about if for the moment. Best wishes, Pol098 (talk) 18:29, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
