Suggestion

[edit]

Instead of trying to have a film series article, how about we have a more general franchise article? Avatar is not just the one film; there are several additional elements like the video game, official books, a touring show, a theme park ride. That would mean a fuller article compared to having very little information available about the fourth and fifth films in development. Pinging AlexTheWhovian. Erik, I would agree with that, especially since no film series exists at the moment; there is only a singular film. A franchise article would be extremely beneficial. -- AlexTW 23:19, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No offense but wouldn't Avatar (franchise) better suit Avatar The Last Airbender's franchise considering it's better know at this point, and it does go by Avatar more generally. 65.207.55.2 (talk) 19:26, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What's your source for the claim that it is better known at this point? This Avatar franchise has 4 movies in the pipeline with a total budget of 1B and, as of now, 1 AAA multi million dollar videogame coming from Ubisoft and another AAA mobile game. It has a multi billion dollar theme park land. Anecdotal but it looks like this Avatar franchise gets more $$$ and more eyes on it. 2600:1700:D8:8040:9551:D02F:89D8:7DF0 (talk)

Reviewer Note

[edit]

This draft appears to satisfy notability. There seems to be enough information here to accept into article space. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:53, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Budget for 2

[edit]

The budget for The Way of Water is reportedly $350-400 million. I would add it, but then I wouldn’t know the budget total. 172.116.214.66 (talk) 22:23, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant redirects

[edit]

Currently, the "Avatar 5" and "Avatar Future" links are redirects that bring you back to the exact same spot you were just reading. That seems rather pointless. - 2A02:A31A:C246:7480:3CD3:68D1:119F:D246 (talk) 01:59, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information Removed

[edit]

I see that [this revision] has a LOT of stuff removed which wasn't added back in subsequent edits, including See-Also, Categories etc. I only came here to fix the WP:NOREFLIST error but this looks like something an editor more knowledgeable or invested should sort out.
