I did not assess this article for the Middle Ages project, as I'm not sure that an Anglican diocese is strictly speaking within the Middle Ages Project's scope. Ealdgyth | Talk04:13, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Whilst the whole article may not be within the scope of that project, members are probably better placed to expand on the history of the diocese than many others. From that point of view however, it's not evena stub. David Underdown11:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This article (rightly) discusses the diocese from its foundation in the seventh century, but as this means that the diocese was actually a Catholic one for most of the period covered by the article is the title of the article (and the one at Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester) not misleading? Would the articles not be better disambiguated geographically? JimmyGuano (talk) 17:25, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It was still a diocese of the English Church, which is ultimately the derivation of Anglican, until the Reformation, taht ws in communion with the Pope, afterwards it wasn't. David Underdown (talk) 20:17, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with JimmyGuano's point: the matter of the diocese's Catholic history needs to be covered somewhere, and appropriately indicated. I propose that this article be renamed to something like Diocese of Worcester (England), its content divided into Catholic and Anglican sections, a For template be added to disambiguate it from the American Roman Catholic diocese's article, and a For template be added to that article to disambiguate it from this one. -JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 02:13, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The count of parishes and churches in the body of the text, and that in the infobox are at variance. I am not sure which is correct, however. Malpensilo (talk) 17:26, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
