Photo

[edit]

There is a photograph of the "Papmer Homestead" on Pendleton Hill on page 9 (roughly) here in a book discussing Albert Gallatin Palmer and Albert Gallatin but I got lost as far as the connection or who was named for whom.. FloridaArmy (talk) 23:53, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Poems

[edit]

The Palmer Reunion book (1888) and this book memorializing Albert Gallatin Palmer have poems about the hill that would be good to include. I will try to transcribe when I have time if no one else gets to it first. Not enough hours on the day!!! FloridaArmy (talk) 23:56, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Post Office

[edit]

In 1866 Robert P. Palmer is listed as postmaster and Pendleton Hill was listed as in New London County, Connecticut here. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:11, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
