William Witt (born September 5, 1996[1][2]) is an American author, media personality, political commentator, producer and pundit.

Early life

[edit]

Witt was born on September 5, 1996, in Denver, Colorado, where he grew up most of his early life[3], and was raised in a relatively liberal household by his mother. Will studied in the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was already starting to lean more conservative, but dropped out after two years, after he personally experienced the left’s relentless indoctrination of students. Witt moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in media and politics[4].

Career

[edit]

PragerU (2010–2022)

[edit]

In 2010, Witt is the first-in-house personality of PragerU, an American 501(c)(3) nonprofit advocacy group and media organization, where he hosted the shows, Man on the Street and Will Witt Live, from 2018 until 2022. The purpose is to create online content to help inspire young people worldwide to fight for the values they believe in[5].

In 2022, Witt left PragerU[6]. It has been stated that Witt's decision to leave was because he moved to Florida to start a new media publication that "will be the true and conservative voice for Florida".

2020s

Witt's book, How to Win Friends and Influence Enemies[7], became the national bestselling book. He's also the editor-in-chief of The Florida Standard, a publication–based in Tampa.

Witt was frequently featured on media outlets such as Fox News, The Daily Wire and The Blaze as a cultural commentator and he was featured on the cover of The New York Times, which discussed the massive impact he and PragerU have had on America.

Personal life

[edit]

Since March 2022, Witt became engaged with Dutch right-wing political correspondent and activist Eva Vlaardingerbroek[8]. The engagement between them later ended at an unspecified time. He currently lives in Florida.
