I wanted to note I just uploaded Image:MerleGreenRobertsonPalenque86.jpg a pretty good pic of Merle Greene Robertson at the 1986 Palenque Mesa Redonda, for such time as we have an article on her as we should. -- Infrogmation 20:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, nice one, Infrogmation. There's no time like the present, so I've started off a stub and included this img. You wouldn't perchance happen to have her recent autobiog, Never In Fear? --cjllw | TALK 05:22, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the article! I wish I'd taken more pix of the scholars, but at the time I didn't know I'd eventually have any actual use for such. As I remember it, the day I took that photo, there were two guided tours of the ruins, one conducted by Linda Schele and the other by Robertson. I went with Doña Merle, as I figured she was an old timer and Schele was likely to be around a lot longer. Little did I know.... No, I'm unfamiliar with her recent autobiog. I imagine it's interesting. -- Infrogmation 22:00, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
