Plastique Tiara
Can someone else please revert Plastique Tiara to the redirect? I don't want to be accused of edit warring, but Plastique Tiara clearly does not deserve an article yet. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:27, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Plastique Tiara, Part II
Again, asking project member to keep an eye on Plastique Tiara. Someone keeps trying to create an article from the redirect, and Plastique Tiara is clearly not notable enough for an article yet. I'd appreciate help restoring the redirect when appropriate so I'm not accused of edit warring. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:56, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
Part III
Plastique Tiara is back. While I'm still not sure the article clearly establishes notability, this is a much better attempt than before. I'm not going to revert immediately, and I invite other editors to review as well. I've noted the article needs an image on the talk page. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:19, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- After reviewing, the article's sources are very weak at this point. I could easily see this be put up for AfD, and I couldn't argue 'Keep' with these sources. The only substantive sources focusing on Plastique (rather than lists of contestants) are Saigoneer, The Hollywood Reporter, Patrick Starr (social media), and Kenh14. And, as the sources indicate, she's done nothing other than appear on RPDR, and simply competing isn't enough (without substantive coverage). In short, I don't think it meets GNG as it stands.--Kbabej (talk) 14:46, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
- Kbabej, Thanks for reviewing sourcing. I'm not opposed to redirecting if you feel strongly this is the best move for now. I'd rather not deal with an unnecessary AfD when redirecting is an option. That being said, there may be more coverage about her in the very near future, so maybe we can add a tag to the top of the article in the meantime? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:59, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
- I found another source focusing on her, which I've added. When I get home tonight I'll do some digging and ideally find some more. I think you're right more coverage will be forthcoming very soon, so perhaps best to just let it be for the moment and add sources as they pop up. --Kbabej (talk) 15:11, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

A new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.

Collaboration of the month?
Curious, are project members interested in having a collaboration of the month? We can all work together to improve a Wikipedia article related to RPDR each month. Hopefully we could even promote articles to quality status. For many of the queens, there's not an overwhelming amount of coverage, so I could see us having success expanding them to GA quality. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:01, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like there might be enough content and coverage to justify creating an article specifically about "Trump: The Rusical". Vivacious
@Randykitty: Are you willing to restore the Vivacious (drag queen) content? I understand the respect the AfD decision, but there was no need to remove the article's history altogether. Open to restoring in the draft space, if preferred. The article history for Plastique Tiara was recently restored, would appreciate your help here as well. Thanks. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:17, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Given the twisted history of Plastique Tiara, I'm hesitant to do another undelete, which may just lead to more recreations despite the AfD outcome (which specifically was "delete and redirect". --Randykitty (talk) 17:47, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Randykitty, I understand recreations might be a problem because of one specific IP editor. However, I still think the article's history should be kept, and there were enough keep votes to justify preservation for possible future expansion. I'm also open to protecting the page so the redirect can't be turned into an article by the problematic editor (similar to Plastique Tiara). Will this work for you? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:02, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- It appears that IP is now blocked with account creation blocked, anyway. No one else attempted to recreate the Plastique article as anything other than a redirect. Armadillopteryxtalk 18:07, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

- This is a partial truth. Once the Plastique article was restored by the IP, you happily edited it, despite being aware of the AfD decision. I'm not going to undelete the article history. Feel free to take this to WP:DRV. --Randykitty (talk) 18:14, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Randykitty, Yes, I made some edits while comparing previous versions of the article, and trying to understand what was new content and/or sourcing. This was a work in progress, and I was not ignoring the AfD result. Also, we're discussing Vivacious here, not Plastique. I'm disappointed by your reply, but I will go to DRV. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:18, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Randykitty Actually, sorry, I don't think I'll go to DRV. I'm not looking to overturn the result, I just want the history restored, so I'll try to figure out where to submit that request. Thanks. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:20, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

@Ritchie333: You're not involved, as far as I know, but I am wondering if you might be willing to restore the Vivacious (drag queen) article history. I'd like to have the markup preserved for possible future expansion, and I'm open to having the markup moved into the draft space and/or keeping the Vivacious (drag queen) page protected to hinder page recreation. In my opinion, the article history did not need to be deleted in order for the AfD result to be respected, but the deleting admin does not seem willing to honor my request. If you don't wish to get involved, perhaps you can remind me where to submit a request? I believe you helped me with a similar situation before, hence why I'm asking you now. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:27, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- @JamesBWatson: Pinging you as well, given your involvement with the Plastique Tiara article and the block on the IP editor. Would you be open to the same sort of restoration/protection for the Vivacious (drag queen) page? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:32, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: As you know, I thought that restoring the history of Plastique Tiara was not a good idea, but I agreed to do so because I didn't think it worth the hassle of arguing the case. Restoring this one is just as likely to be harmful, and even less defensible, since, as Randykitty has pointed out, the AfD decision was explicitly delete and redirect. I would certainly not have restored the other one had the AfD close been the same there, nor would I have done so had I known that you would use it as a precedent to try to get the same done to this article. You consulted the deleting administrator, which was fine, but when you got the answer "no" you should either have accepted that or, if you thought she was wrong by Wikipedia policy, then taken it to deletion review. Instead, you decided to look for another administrator who you thought would overturn her decision. You chose two administrators who had previously done something similar for you. If you have not already done so then please read WP:ADMINSHOP, which will tell you Wikipedia policy on the practice of trying one administrator after another in the hope of finding one who will do what you want. That policy applies especially strongly in the case of deliberately selecting administrators who, on the basis of past experience you think are likely to support your position; it amounts to Wikipedia:Canvassing. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:19, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- JamesBWatson, Ok, sure! I thought I was supposed to start seeking deletion review with the deleting admin, but that didn't mean I couldn't go elsewhere if they declined. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I still disagree, but I'll move on to other things. Also, I didn't think you'd agree with me, I just thought you could weigh in based on your actions against the IP editor. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:21, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

There are now several articles about specific RPDR episodes (see musicals section above), but "Social Media Kings Into Queens" is my first attempt at an article about a regular episode, but one featuring several notable guests. Articles about Queens...
I'd like to suggest that articles about queens that don't yet exist (or which have existed and been restored to redirects) be created in the Draft space. It will be considerably neater and they can be evaluated outside the AFD environment.Naraht (talk) 17:01, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

I did some research and I think that possible that there's an All-Stars Season 5 coming in the fall. Anyone disagree?-- Happypillsjr ✉ 11:09, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

--- The possible fifth season of All Stars will likely air in 2020 and there are unsubstantiated rumors and fan predictions have begun to swirl and contestants like Derrick Barry, Blair St. Clair, Miz Cracker, Soju, Mayhem Miller, and Asia O’Hara are being thrown in as potential cast members.-- Happypillsjr ✉ 17:19, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool
Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Proposed move for Aja, from Aja (drag queen) to Aja (entertainer)
I post this because I think the scope of this proposal is bigger than simply the people who visit the talk page of the article.
In summary, Aja has expressed no longer identifying as a drag queen and being more focused on a music career and burlesque performances. We oppened a move proposal that will be watched by admins until a consensus about the move is reached. I think input from the community overall would be valuable. You can find it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Aja_(drag_queen)#Requested_move_11_January_2020
We'll appreciate your opinions.

RPDR Pit crews
I think this could be an interesting article, even if brief(s)! Gleeanon409 (talk) 17:23, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- Gleeanon409, I agree. Shawn Morales is even independently notable, and now there's a Brit Crew to describe as well. I think Pit Crew (RuPaul's Drag Race) might be the best way to disambiguate from Pit crew, which currently redirects to Pit stop. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:51, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race
Halleloo! RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:03, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
Category for RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars?
Should we create Category:RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars?
Furthermore, should we create subcategories for Category:RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars contestants and Category:RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars seasons?
I think this would help clean up Category:RuPaul's Drag Race a bit, but I also think some editors unfamiliar with the franchise might find the proposed subcategories duplicates of Category:RuPaul's Drag Race contestants and Category:RuPaul's Drag Race seasons.
Thoughts? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:14, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
