Agenda
[edit]Wikidata is the knowledge base which the Wikimedia community edits collaboratively. Wikidata matters because it supplies information to Wikipedia, making it part of the world’s most popular source of information on every topic.
In this presentation Lane Rasberry, Wikimedian in Residence at the Data Science Institute of the University of Virginia, presents Wikidata, its relationship to Wikipedia, and an overview of how a community of editors is curating its data for the world audience.
