Alaska
[edit]Sources
[edit]- http://akleg.gov/docs/pdf/ROSTERALL.pdf The Alaska Legislature's Roster of Members, covering the entire history of the territorial and state legislatures. Published mostly biennially since the mid 1960s.
- http://akleg.gov/docs/pdf/ROM-centennial.pdf The "Centennial Edition" of the Roster, published in 2013 to commemorate the centennial of the establishment of the territorial legislature.
- Who's Who in Alaskan Politics, compiled by Evangeline Atwood and R. N. DeArmond and published by Binford & Mort in 1977, contains most members of the territorial and state legislatures through the 8th State Legislature. A short description of the book and a listing of names contained therein can be found at User:RadioKAOS/Sandbox/Bios/Who's Who in Alaskan Politics.
- The Juneau Empire publishes/d a special section on the legislature, typically appearing biennially prior to the start of each new legislature, for decades. It's unclear if this is still being published or if it can be found on the newspaper's website in any form.
The following list will limit consideration to state legislatures. Names are listed once, in order of first appearance in the legislature. Entries are as follows: the person's ideal name on Wikipedia, as best conforming to WP:COMMONNAME or other considerations; the person's full name, as best is known; the person's year of birth (and death). Entries with no death year or placeholder listed are still (believed to be) alive.
