Specific Tasks[edit]
Naming Conventions[edit]Districts, Subdistricts, and Neighborhoods: The current format of 'neighborhoods' for Atlanta is confused/inaccurate. Calling Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead 'neighborhoods' is incorrect. These are large districts, with taxing and zoning authority, and are themselves comprised of smaller districts (such as the Fairlie-Poplar district in Downtown) or neighborhoods/developments. Note, for example, Midtown includes Ansley Park, Home Park, Atlantic Station, SoNO, etc. Buckhead has over 130,000 residents and includes smaller neighborhoods, with their own associations. Someone who knows the city well needs to clean this up. Related projects[edit]
