The proposed WikiProject was not created. Closing proposal due to insufficient editor interest. Ajpolino (talk) 22:33, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Description
[edit]The proposed project name is obviously a bit of a James Bond spoof. The goals of this project, if it were to be created, would be to monitor other wiki type sites on the web, and other online encyclopedias or works of roughly encyclopedic nature, including a lot of the wikia sites, and see what pages they might have that we don't yet here but would seem to meet or basic standards for NOTABILITY and sufficient content. and, secondly, to maybe establish or maintain other sites, perhaps at wikia, for material which is created here which would be at least potentially useful to our readers or editors, but which for whatever reason has insufficient content for separate notability or enough content. I am thinking here, among other things, of theories of academics, or works by academics, or material of a broadly OR/SYNTH type which might still be productively used here. My personal particular early focuses would be material on academic subjects and/or broadly religious/philosophical/cultural type, and/or broadly "pop culture" type.
I guess the early idea of setup would be to create a page or subpage listing material extant elsewhere which could be added here, or, alternately, just list the main pages of other wikipedia type sites which might have material which might be useful here. And, perhaps, there might be a separate project subpage listing material up for deletion or already deleted or minimally merged into other material here, which might be added to some other wikia or similar site that material might be relevant to. - I am far from sure that there are any groups engaging in similar activity at this time.
