Wikipedia:Picture peer review/Panoramic view of Jakarta
Appearance
The image is of extremely high resolution and has high EV. As it is a 360 view, the levels are somewhat off in some parts of the image, but I feel like it doesn't detract from the image. (Any copyrighted images shown in this work would be de minimis)

- The stitch still needs work. Quite a few of the buildings in some shots are crooked, and need vertical control points to correct that. Secondly, the exposure varies from frame to frame - this can be corrected but it is a bit time consuming. Set your camera to manual if you can in future for panoramas. This is most visible in the sky. I can't see any significant stitching errors, and the image quality is good enough given the high overall resolution in my view. - Thanks. I will try to get a better series if I return to the National Monument and can get up to the viewing deck. It's not very conducive to creating panoramas, but I can give it a shot. Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:30, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- Personally I hate 360° panos, but that's a personal opinion. Just for interest's sake, you haven't tried it as say 2 x ≈180° panos instead have you? --jjron (talk) 13:33, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
- No... what purpose would that serve? Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:32, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Two better images versus one not so good image. Remove some of the exposure variation. Less issues with crooked buildings and odd projections. Take out the awkwardness created by a 360° pano... --jjron (talk) 16:04, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
