One Wikimedia Australia committee member is in town as a part of Cycle 2 of the Wikimedia Strategy Survey on what goals the Wikimedia Foundation (and hence Wikipedia, Commons, etc) should have going forward. What should we be doing differently? What should we start doing? What should we stop doing? The goals being considered are:
- Healthy, Inclusive Communities
- The Augmented Age
- A Truly Global Movement
- The Most Respected Source of Knowledge
- Engaging in the Knowledge Ecosystem
Apology for the 'very late notice - this could be a rolling meetup where people might be able to catch the visiting Strategy Survey at a time that suits them during the day.
please email JarrahTree or strategy@wikimedia.org.au if you wish to catch up in the city during the day.
A 5pm meeting in the city is being considered...
For those unable to attend or who are still interested in the subject - please note that there is time left to offer 'localised' feedback - please contact JarrahTree or Kerry - there may well be parts of the strategy you would like to offer comment - it is not too late !
