[edit]How to change the title of your name?
[edit]Hi:
I recently created a wikipedia for myself. My username is not what I want as the title of my page. I want my name as the title of my page. But right now (since the page has not been verified yet), the title shows my username. Can we change the title of our page? If yes, could you please help how to do it?
Thank you Joe — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joepaulmalayalam (talk • contribs) 00:13, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hey Joepaulmalayalam, welcome to Wikipedia. In short, the answer is "No, we cannot change the title of your page". I have left a message on your talk page about this. Follow the instructions written there. At the same time, as I have mentioned there, please read Wikipedia:Autobiography, a content guideline at Wikipedia, which would clarify to you why we strongly discourage writing autobiographies. Thanks, Lourdes 00:58, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
Inaccurate content
[edit]The Wikipedia page for federation de crosse du quebec is not accurate.
Please correct this as soon as possible or remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.94.37.219 (talk) 11:59, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your suggestion. When you believe an article needs improvement, please feel free to make those changes. Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone can edit almost any article by simply following the edit this page link at the top.

- Regrettably we are unable to read the OP's mind to find out in what way he/she thinks the content of the page is "inacurate" [sic], but I notice firstly that it has no references whatever, and secondly that the organisation's name is mentioned eight times in the rather short article, always in full and emboldened (as is the one mention of a similar organisation), making for a rather ugly appearance.
- I intend to debold all but the first mention, convert some of the rest to "the Fédération" or "the FCQ", and to debold and wikilink the other emboldened organisation. I'll leave it to someone with some knowledge of the actual subject to contribute references and re-edit the page appropriately. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.217.102.65 (talk) 18:10, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
Help reflecting logo change on Google preview box
[edit]I'm looking to change the preview image on the Wikipedia 'info box' on google.
Right now it is my old logo (see https://www.google.com/search?ei=ZOy9W4HvB6WO5wLvrL-oBA&q=tha+ocean+agency&oq=tha+ocean+agency&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i13l5j0i13i30l5.9956.9956..10079...0.0..0.90.90.1......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71.-tAt3_Lb8RM)
But I've changed it on my Wikipedia page (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ocean_Agency)
Any ideas on how to prompt the change to reflect on the search page?
Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Melissasmith1 (talk • contribs) 12:13, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Melissasmith1: Are you by any chance referring to a photo or text shown to the right of a Google search? Google's Knowledge Graph uses a wide variety of sources. There may be a text paragraph ending with "Wikipedia" to indicate that particular text was copied from Wikipedia. An image and other text before or after the Wikipedia excerpt may be from sources completely unrelated to Wikipedia. We have no control over how Google presents our information, but Google's Knowledge Graph has a "Feedback" link where anyone can mark a field as wrong. L-3 Surviving Aircraft
[edit]Good Morning,
I have a 1941 YO-58, one of the only four built and only 2 survived the war. I wanted to enter this information but can't get the page to accept my edit.
It is:
42-459 1941 YO-58 Owned by Earnest Benton, currently undergoing total restoration in Cartersville, Georgia:
- I hope your restoration is going well. There are no recent edits to the article Aeronca L-3. Please describe your editing problem. Note that we will require a citation to a published "reliable source" (WP:RS), just as with all of the other aircraft in the "existing aircraft" list on that page. Formatting a source is a bit tricky. If you have trouble with it, just slap your proposed addition together with the URL for the source into a new section of the article's talk page and I can try to format it for you. -Arch dude (talk) 15:45, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
Editing an article title
[edit]Hello - I am totally new to wikipedia. I have noticed the title of this article - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_best-selling_singles_of_the_21th_century_in_the_United_Kingdom refers to the '21st centruy' as the '21th century' and I can't figure out how to change it.

When will my page "Go Live"
[edit]Hello!
I have recently submitted a page on artist, "Cobie Russell," for review by the board. I have not received any confirmation on it nor has it officially posted. What are the steps I need to take to ensure this happens?
Thank you for your time!
Bswanr (talk) 17:30, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Bswanr:You created Draft:Cobie Russell, but you did not submit it for review. Place the magic incantation {{subst:Submit}} at the top of your page. This was carefully explained to you in some obscure corner of our guidelines about draft articles: It'll take me awhile to figure out where :-). -Arch dude (talk) 18:15, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
Searching a list of all blocks by reason?
[edit]Hello,
Is there a way to search a list of all blocks ever made by block reason? Or, if not, is there a way to search the list of blocks an admin has made by block reason?
Thanks in advance for any help, and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask - it seemed to be the best place I could find. 173.163.174.145 (talk) 19:28, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- Looking at the block log I don't see any way to do so. LittlePuppers (talk) 19:37, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
