Disambig external links [here] and [here]
I'd like to make clear I don't that it's a false positive; the instructions said "If this edit is constructive, please click 'Save page' again, and report this error" so I am trying to clarify that I believe the edit is constructive and warrants external links in the disambig page _just this once_ until this gets addressed. If it's going to get scrutiny better get it out of the way early on. Incidentally, you'd think they would have got to this already but who knows. Again it was right to flag the attempt to add external links but without those no one would know 'SHARP' is an acronym for these... (whatever those are, programs? I'm sure theres a name for them), at least unless the pages were created. SAPRO appears to be an office and I would guess SHARP's a program, but I would bet theres another name for it, operation maybe? I would presume something to do with force protection if not Mark I NAAK or ATNAA. Just felt people would think I was some vandal pulling it out of my hat without the external links. I know, cherry tree moment, everybody! Thanks.

I was asking the following question on the Talk page of actor Michael J. Anderson:
"Much like the question above regarding Anderson and Jews, I wonder if some mention should be made of his well-publicized accusations on Facebook that David Lynch is an incestuous pedophile rapist and a murderer (Lynch's daughter, the supposed victim of all but the murder, even felt compelled to publicly defend her father afterwards, so it's hardly mere rumour). Honestly, the page may just need a "Controversies" section at this point."
I understand fully why the false positive happened (hot button words galore), but this is a legitimate question. I'll add a few links afterward for verification. For the same reasons that it was flagged, I was uncomfortable with doing anything with the actual page and asked on the Talk page if someone should.

- Killer Mike (filter log)
- Description
- The "N" word is censored, in a quotation by Killer Mike himself. It's use is not to denote any form of bigotry, but an apt description of what life is like for many colored Americans. It's pretty sad that it's been censored in this context. Wikipedia certainly shouldn't be a place where we censor information in order to protect people from a derogatory word.

Plot
Medgar Evers was a black civil rights activist in Mississippi who was murdered by Byron De La Beckwith, a white supremacist, in the night of June 12, 1963. De La Beckwith was tried twice, with both trials ended in synching is cool hung juries, no surprise because both juries exclusively consisted of white men, and all the good (white) citizens of the time were vehemently against the emancipation of negroes. Many were members of white supremacist organizations including the Ku Klux Klan, the judicial apparatus including policemen were reluctant to convict a white man for killing a nigger, supporting witnesses committed perjury and weren't called out on that. In 1989, Evers' widow Myrlie, who had been trying to bring De La Beckwith to justice for over 25 years, believed she had what it takes to bring him to trial again. Although most of the evidence from the old trial had disappeared, Bobby DeLaughter, an assistant District Attorney, took it upon himself to pursue the case despite being warned that it might hurt his political aspirations, despite the reluctance of his boss to revisit an old case, and despite the strain that it caused in his marriage. In his early career DeLaughter had already developed an appreciation for justice, and sees emancipation as an American virtue that the State of Mississippi should not try to suppress but instead embrace. In reading about Medgar and listening to his speeches he develops a certain kinship, in part because both have three small children of similar ages. Helped by a crack investigator and the uncharacteristically looking progressive son of a policeman who dealt with the case back in 1963, he tries to reconstruct the evidence in the case that has been lost, by negligence, on purpose, or even stolen: DeLaughter's ex-wife is the daughter of the white supremacist judge who dealt with the case way back, and on a visit to his ex-mother-in-law finds the murder weapon hidden in the judge's home office. Eventually DeLaughter manages to bring De La Beckwith to trial for the third time 30 years later. In 1994, Byron De La Beckwith was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment, bring8nt the case to a just end and providing a measure of much delayed satisfaction to the family of Medgar Evers.

- Description
- I attempted to reframe statements on Klum by Karl Lagerfeld and Wolfgang Joop as matters of their opinion and not suggestive of the industry's in general, as the wording implied before. I also added a characterization of Lagerfeld's statements as misogynist by an opinion article in Jezebel, in order to indicate that his words were controversial and debateable, not matters of fact regarding Klum's reputation. My edit was an attempt to introduce neutrality.

- correct the English grammar. The otherwise excellent page was written by a non-English speaker and they were having some problems with their pronouns and articles. Not sure why the "automatic filter" stopped this. I rarely (3 or 4 times a year) make a change to a wikipedia article, and it's usually a grammatical correction of this kind. this is the first time I've been stopped. I don't know how important it is that the grammar be correct, but frankly, I'm pretty sure it isn't worth this much trouble. Regards.

- @Guan yu: It's indeed a false positive; the filter interpreted "it was here that" as a vandal phrase (graffiti) "[somebody] was here". (That said, the original grammar wasn't wrong.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 16:54, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

- It's a sort of a false positive, though neither the Wikipedia article nor the reference I checked says that the game used the Unity engine. (New and unregistered users are restricted from adding profanity to articles.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 17:46, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

I dont think its a false positive, I just don't want to look like I'm trying to sneak this by the censor. Added "*Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention[5] (Not to be confused with SAPRO[6])" at SHARP. To clarify, I don't think this should escape the filter but I think SHARP is an acronym for "Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention," which I also believe to be not a hoax and notable enough to have it's own (if ratepayer-funded) web page. If rape in the military is not notable enough for Wikipedia, I apologize. Likely my subconscious has been scarred by all those years of reading Readers Digest in outhouses.
Almost forgot. I think without the external links just a red link to 'SHARP' would confuse people and lead to accusations of vandalism, unconstructive editing etc.

- Talk:Glenn Hubbard (economist) (filter log)
- Description
- adding short snippet-quotation from Politico (direct quotations without any of my own summarization as yet) on Glenn Hubbard (economist) as a potential contender for U.S. Treasury department, which was one of several dozen such sources I was working on. Quotes were from J.W.Verret and Austan Goolsbee and one of Hubbard's students at Columbia, nothing that should have triggered "Disallow". Please change the 'talk page abuse' filter-settings to warn, rather than disallow, the regular expressions being used are WAY too over-sensitive, waste a lot of time that could have been productive

- I've edited your description so it doesn't cause this page to have a reference list at the bottom. Yes, this is a false positive, but unfortunately one that we can't really distinguish from vandalism. Have you considered creating an account? Once you create an account and become established, many filters will no longer apply. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 03:49, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

- Numeronym (filter log)
- Description
- I was adding a Numeronym to the list of Numeronyms. Specifically, I was adding "555" which is equivalent to "LOL" due to the fact that in Thai, the number 5 is pronounced "ha". It's a cute multi-lingual pun, and a Numeronym that shows up in real life (well, when using computers to chat when Thai's might be on the chat channel. Given the length of the Numeronym list, this is unlikely to add too much noise even if most people aren't all that interested in this particular Numeronym. The specific text I typed is """* 555 - LOL - Laughing out loud. In Thai, the number 5 is pronounced "ha".
