- Delete Sources are either local or routine news reporting of football injuries and such. If or when he makes an NFL roster, then a page may be justified. TheValeyard (talk) 03:10, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Comment feature articles are WP:NOTROUTINE.--Paul McDonald (talk) 23:45, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. Maguire was a starting quarterback for Florida State, one of the most elite football teams in the county, in 2015. Passes WP:GNG. Even aside from extensive local coverage in the Tallahassee Democrat (e.g., here), he also received significant coverage in other multiple reliable sources, including national media outlets like ESPN.com (here), USA Today (here, here), NBC Sports (here), CBS Sports (here and here) and Sports Illustrated (here), as well as major metropolitan newspapers like the Orlando Sentinel (here) and the Miami Herald (here). - Keep per the sources provided by Cbl62. It's hard to imagine a recent starting QB at FSU wouldn't be notable. Lepricavark (talk) 12:55, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep per the sources provided by WikiOriginal-9 and Cbl62. Meets WP:GNG and WP:BASIC. Ejgreen77 (talk) 12:56, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep – Meets WP:BASIC per a source review. North America1000 14:30, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep clearly passes WP:GNG with multiple feature articles at ESPN and other sources. Normally we find that starting quarterbacks at Division I FBS schools like Florida State generate enough press to surpass GNG and that most certainly is the case here.--Paul McDonald (talk) 23:44, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep Fails WP:NGRIDIRON but passes WP:GNG easily. Smartyllama (talk) 14:31, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- Keep - Seems to be enough coverage of collegiate career for a GNG pass. Carrite (talk) 17:08, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- Delete lots of routine news coverage does not make a person notable.John Pack Lambert (talk) 03:13, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- That's a non sequitur, right? Lepricavark (talk) 03:21, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- There's lots of routine news coverage about Abe Lincoln too, that doesn't disqualify the feature news.--Paul McDonald (talk) 12:08, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
