. There's also an interesting bit of real-world commentary in 1000 Facts about Comic Book Characters, p. 15. I wonder if this can be verified with an additional source. So I also believe this character does not have the notability for a stand-alone article, but think that it deserves a mention in a list in accordance with WP:ATD-M. - Comment - That books looks like it was published by Lulu.com, which I believe is just a self-publishing platform, so I don't think the information in it can actually be used as a reliable source. Rorshacma (talk) 16:42, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- True. It's just that this claim sounds plausible, so that I was hoping someone might turn up a reliable source to verify it. User-generated sites also compound this, which may either mean there's really something behind it or just that everyone copies from everyone else. In any case, a symbolic underpinning of the character also featured in a conference presentation this year. The summary here has just one meager sentence on it, though, and I could so far not find anything beyond like a proceedings publication. Might be too early, or that conference just does not do that. - Redirect to List of X-Men enemies#Other recurring antagonists - Already covered at the target list, so a Redirect there is fine. I honestly don't see anything worth merging (the only secondary source being used for "Reception" is a Valnet site "Top Ten" style list) but the history will be there if anyone wants to move anything over.
