Higher Earth was retained. The AfD discussion resulted in no consensus |

The coverage I found to prove its notability is not enough to convince some people. Assistance in finding more to prove its notability beyond any reasonable doubt, would be appreciated. Dream Focus 07:05, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

UTasker was deleted |

This article about an embedded operating system would benefit from clean-up and better organization. Since it's being considered for deletion, the addition of more reliable sources is also appropriate. Northamerica1000(talk) 04:09, 26 May 2012 (UTC) |
Structured Noise (music) was merged to Noise music |

An unsourced article up for deletion; the topic is related to Industrial music. Northamerica1000(talk) 04:15, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Runet (term) was retained in the encyclopedia |
---|
Nominated for deletion to be removed from the encyclopedia per a rationale of being a dictionary definition. However, the term is exceedingly more complex than a simple dictionary definition. For example, (from the Wikipedia article): "in 2009, a Yandex report stated that Runet can pertain to sites written in Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Kazakh languages, as well as sites in any language published in the national domain .am, .az, .by, .ge, .kg, .kz, .md, .ru, .su, .tj, .ua или uz".[1] Hence this request is being posted here to improve the article and find/add additional reliable sources.

Triptyque was deleted |

An article about an architectural firm. This is a request to help find sources to better-qualify this topic's notability, and if found, to also add them to the article. Sources include:
Comments:
Assistance is appreciated! This is not a request to immediately go to the AfD discussion and !vote. However, with Wikipedia being a public website, people can of course do whatever they desire, regardless of requests within rescue requests to not immediately !vote. It's common sense that people who post requests for rescue consideration here do not have any control over what other people type on their computers (at any time). Information was merged to List of magazines released by Marvel Comics in the 1970s |

Marvel comics published a lot of magazines. Most seem to be objecting to the name of the article, instead of its content. I need help finding coverage of Marvel's magazine division used to avoid the Comics Code Authority. Dream Focus 09:23, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Academic Journals Database was deleted |

The article has been nominated for deletion for lacking topic notability, yet many editors on the article's talk page and at the AfD discussion have demonstrated a strong interest in improving the article. Perhaps this WikiProject can help out to improve the article. Northamerica1000(talk) 01:29, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

The Leslie Daigle article was deleted, with a redirect to California State Assembly elections, 2012 | ||
---|---|---|
The article has sources but could use a rewrite, there is a campaign it seems to me by several users to repeatedly erase cited content and whitewash the article into a state where it looks like there is not enough sources or content.LuciferWildCat (talk) 20:22, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

The article is up for vote right now. The band is notable, with sources from The New York Times, New York Observer, and New York Magazine. There seems to be some bias against the group because it isn't some sort of stadium filling act, but an independent garage rock band.Thriley (talk) 06:12, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- Please explain further how you think the article can be improved. This WikiProject is not about !voting at AfD discussions, so clarification is necessary. Thanks for your consideration. Northamerica1000(talk) 07:13, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- There is plenty of information from reliable sources to improve the band history. I would do it myself, but I don't have very much time to do it over the next few days. I am worried that it will be deleted before I can improve it. I am asking for assistance in improving the band history. Good sources are provided on the article page.Thriley (talk) 07:21, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying your stance, it is appreciated. Northamerica1000(talk) 09:37, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- Northamerica1000, that isn't necessary and never has been. Anyone asking for assistance here obviously believes an article to be notable, and wants help find references to prove it. Dream Focus 08:42, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the input. The person did help to clarify what could use improvement within the article, though, and many reliable sources were already present in the article in it's (former) Further reading section (now titled "Additional sources") at the time of the post here. Hence, it didn't appear that a request for source searching was implied in the listing here, because many were already existent in the article. Best, Northamerica1000(talk) 09:40, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

This is a stub article on a living person who has served as the headmaster of some of India's most prestigious and important schools. I've not yet had time to check for sources but it seems inconceivable that it's not possible to write an encyclopaedic article about such a person, though sources for India are obviously much less comprehensive than those for the UK. Regardless of sourcing it is important to maintain a balance of articles on Wikipedia to counter the inherent Wikipedia:Systemic bias. If anyone has time to help to help out and find sources for this article it would be much appreciated. Dahliarose (talk) 11:15, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Someone decided the issue needed expansion, too much to fit in the main article, so on the Mitt Romney talk page said they create this for it. Valid content fork? I've been working on fixing some of the information to get the whole story. Some help would be appreciated. Dream Focus 15:22, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I am the editor that saw this issue was too big to fit comfortably on existing pages which were already long. My goal has been to keep with the objectives of Wikipedia and carefully negotiate between those that wish to squash anything bad about a candidate that they support, and those that wish to blow up anything bad to support an opposing candidate. This subject is too big to hide and has filled hundreds of newspapers on the front page and not showing this article is censorship. The newspaper reporters that worked on this article were carefully reviewed and everything written reviewed by a David Maraniss. Please return this page along with cross links to page Mitt Romney and Mitt Romney 2012 campaign.Pbmaise (talk) 02:50, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- There is enough valid information to fill in its own article. Its a valid content fork. And the current version of the article is rather nicely done. It wouldn't all fit properly in a different article. Dream Focus 03:38, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Forward (generic name of socialist publications) – Nomination for rescue consideration withdrawn: the article has been deleted |

This article has been nominated for deletion for several reasons, including (per the nomination) lacking reliable sources, the topic having an inability to be attributed to reliable sources, and other reasons. I wasn't aware of this use of the word prior to reading the article, and if the article didn't exist, I likely never would have learned about its content. Perhaps this project can help to improve the article, as it appears to be of encyclopedic worth. Northamerica1000(talk) 03:30, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Forward (Obama–Biden campaign slogan) – Nomination for rescue consideration withdrawn |

The topic appears to have received significant coverage in reliable sources and as such seems to be worthy of a stand-alone article, but the page is currently under full protection until 17:12, 5 May 2012 (UTC) (here's the diff page), so it's currently unable to be edited by most Wikipedia users. Per this project's scope to improve articles being considered for deletion, here are some sources I have found which can be used to do so:
After the full protection period has ended, in which only Wikipedia administrators can contribute to the article, perhaps this project can help out to improve the article. Northamerica1000(talk) 21:01, 2 May 2012 (UTC) More sources from the article's talk page:
Do we have a slogan article for every campaign in US history? Even for any other notable ones at all? The creation of "articles" like this - by people trying to insert POV nonsense - is why Wikipedia is a joke.
