Speedy deletion of "Ziad Seklawi"
[edit]A page you created, Ziad Seklawi, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ziad Seklawi
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Ziad Seklawi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Cordless Larry (talk) 14:51, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

This is a new transfer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zsiklawi (talk • contribs) 16:17, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- That may be the case, but you still need to provide a source. A Google search suggests that no such sources exist. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:22, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
I have a practice session tomorrow after they represent me, so I will upload some photos on Facebook and they will upload some photos too, and try watching some Romanian channels — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zsiklawi (talk • contribs) 16:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Unfortunately Facebook is not considered a reliable source for these purposes. I assume that you would be listed here on the FC Universitatea Craiova website if you were in the squad. If you are added later, I will be happy to add you to the article, but until such time as a source is provided that cannot happen. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:32, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
TV is a source, watch the 8 pm news on Pro Tv — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zsiklawi (talk • contribs) 16:38, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Not living in Romania, I don't have access to that. It's up to someone who does to verify what you say. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:48, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Yesterday they had a game and lost so they will talk about the transfer too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zsiklawi (talk • contribs) 17:01, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

[edit]This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to FC Universitatea Craiova, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If you cannot provide reliable sources backing your claim, you should stop adding yourself to the team's roster. Failure to comply with this will very likely get you blocked.
