Request for help

[edit]

You seem to have fixed the problem. Cheers V. Joe 22:14, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Table of contents

[edit]

The table of contents will be created after you have enough new topic. I'm afraid I use my userbox as an email for wikipedia, and don't maintain an email account for that. My work as a "new article" patroller precludes that. V. Joe 22:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC) (It worked!)V. Joe 22:28, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can force a table of contents by adding a __TOC__ tag where you want it to go... Ian13/talk 08:43, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes

[edit]

Per your email requests, these all align to the right. Be sure to add new boxes before the |} code, and type any page content after it. Thanks! Ian13/talk 08:37, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should note that your Wikipedia userpage is designed to assist other editors, or for you to track stuff. It is not meant to be free webspace, nor for a blog. I have created a Userboxes header (I think that is what you wanted) so Userboxes will show up on your TOC. You can make headers which show on the TOC with ==Title==. I have added a note that "Any stuff below this line will go in the userboxes panel" and a similar one to the bottom of the section. This means anything between those tags will go under userboxes and go to the right side of the page. Hope this helps... Ian13/talk 08:41, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

August 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Justin Timberlake. Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Zsfzsf! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 714 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Jim Daley - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Wikipedia 15 in Winnipeg

Wikipedia is celebrating its 15th birthday on January 15, 2016. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to meet some local wikipedians. According to the wikipedians in Winnipeg or Wikipedians in Manitoba category you are one of us. I am contacting people in this category to say: Let's celebrate this milestone. If you know other wikipedians, please ask them to join in as well.

I am posting this to your talk page as a transclude so that any updates will show up automatically.

Hope to see you there! Tenbergen (talk) 04:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

One other Winnipeg Wikipedian showed up, in addition to a number of regular skullspace members. It was nice to actually talk to someone else who has worked with Mediawiki and actually "gets" transclusion. Cake was eaten! Tenbergen (talk) 06:37, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Aw, apparently I haven't logged in to Wikipedia in over 6 years and I totally missed this message and the event! I guessed I missed any 20 year celebration, too. Let me know if you end up doing a 25 year one. :) Clayton Rumley (talk) 22:52, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
