- Hello Safari, I will make adjustments and try to get more references, this subject is one of the old timer founding father politicians in our country who hardly gives media coverage. However, I assure you that this subject is a really notable personality in Nigeria. The sources which i used to cite subject are sources for other verifiable news also. this subject also has news articles in punch, vanguard, daily trust which are some of Nigerias biggest news outlets and also numerous on-paper articles that date back as 1986. - Hi Yinka Williams, I thought I would drop a personal message after our exchange at the Teahouse. Welcome to Wikipedia, I hope you decide to stay with us for a while. You can find some useful links in the welcome message above, I hope they will help you get started.
- One small piece of advice from my side: starting your editing activity on Wikipedia by creating new articles can be frustrating, as users usually have a hard time understanding Wikipedia's requirements (especially WP:N and WP:V). I would recommend you to explore various areas of Wikipedia, perhaps doing some maintenance work such as the ones listed at Wikipedia:Task Center (we have a huge backlog in most categories). You will soon understand how to craft the perfect article :)
- If you have any editing related questions, feel free to reach out. You can reply here or write me on my talk page. Broc (talk) 12:31, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Yinka Williams, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Benjamin Benedict Apugo, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Benjamin Benedict Apugo.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SafariScribe}}

- @SafariScribe:
- Hi Safari, the reason i added a Db-author with {{}} to this article is because i had 2 of this drafts, Prince B.B Apugo and Benjamin Benedict Apugo. While working on these two articles and researching i was also contributing in the wiki Teahouse where i was advised to remove one of the two and which i then did by Db-authoring it so as to have only one. There was no intention of deleting this page at all on my end as it has been well curated by me. This article has also been well cited from news sources like Leadership, Media Trust, Allafrica, Sun (newspaper)

[edit]Hello, Yinka Williams, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Prince B.B Apugo, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Drmies (talk) 00:42, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
