User talk:Xirtam Esrevni
March 2023
[edit]Hi Xirtam Esrevni! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Eric Weinstein that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. — MarkH21talk 21:49, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
- Got it, thanks for clarifying. Xirtam Esrevni (talk) 22:16, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
Hello. I have moved your comment to the bottom of the page, per WP:BOTTOMPOST. Please also sign your posts, per Wikipedia:Signatures. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 03:46, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Gerbrand Ceder. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:24, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for informing, will not do this in the future. Xirtam Esrevni (talk) 18:12, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Prof ShyuePingOng.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Prof ShyuePingOng.svg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Estopedist1 (talk) 07:44, 16 August 2023 (UTC)

Back on December 28, 2023, you added these sections to English Wikipedia's Krampus page. Upon inspecting the numerous sources you attached to these claims, it turns out most make no mention whatsoever of Krampus, another simply mentions it as a custom, and a third is essentially a blog post that openly states there's no evidence for what you've attached to it. It would all be here still if I had not removed it. This is outrageous, harms the project's credibility, and should frankly be grounds for permanent barring of your account. I've opened discussion about your behavior on both the Krampus talk page (Talk:Krampus#Explicit_WP:OR_and_intentional_misrepresentation_of_sources_regarding_Krampus_and_anti-semitic_imagery) and on the Fringe noticeboard ([1]), and will be escalating this as necessary. :bloodofox: (talk) 01:44, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
