[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Johnson County, Texas, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:27, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Adding 2023 American Community Survey Data
[edit]Hello, I'm Patapsco913. I have noticed that you are adding 2023 census info to the census data tables for various counties. You are also changing the 2020 data despite the having the official census data stating otherwise. The table you are using appears to be the American Community Survey data for 2020 which is not the official census and should not be used to change the 2020 data already in the table. As the 2023 information is not official and varies quite a bit year over year it should be delineated elsewhere. See my edit on Johnson County, Texas where I added info on the 2023 ACS. Please respond with any questions. There is always room for improvement. Cheers! Patapsco913 (talk) 16:26, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for tweaking my mistake! I will not add unofficial data from now on. I got that information from the official census website but I realize now it was from the American Community Survey. I was attempting to highlight the rapid growth and diversification occurring in the outer ring suburban counties of the DFW, but I see now how I went about it the incorrect way. Thank you for your suggestions and input! Wlm3239 (talk) 06:47, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
