A gentle note before leaving your message

[edit]

Please do not leave comments discussing the content of articles on my personal talk page. Instead, leave your comment on the article talk page and ping me with {{Reply to|WildComet}}.

If you are here to message me regarding an edit I made relating to the content of the article, please consider if it would be more appropriate to use the article's talk page rather than my personal talk page. You can draw my attention to the appropriate article talk page using the {{Reply to|WildComet}} template so other editors are more likely to see your comment and to avoid WP:TALKFORKing.

Sharp eyes

[edit]

Howdy, you're going to have to keep an eye on quite a number of pages, once John Tory resigns as Mayor of Toronto. Pages like John Tory, Jennifer McKelvie, Toronto, Mayor of Toronto, etc. I suspect many editors/ips will likely adopt the "acting mayor" title for those & other related pages. Pending changes reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

November Articles for creation backlog drive

[edit]

Hello WildComet:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 2 months outstanding reviews from the current 4+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 November 2023 through 30 November 2023.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

There is a backlog of over 1800 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:25, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
