There isn't a way of adding externally hosted pictures; they have to be uploaded to wikipedia, or wikimedia, first. You can do that, but they'd have to be compliant with the copyright requirements, which I doubt they would be. I'm sure you didn't intend it as an advert, but that is what it read like. I don't really see how saying some particular company make these can ever be anything other than an advertisment, unless JK Rowling has said "I think these products, unlike most other products, look exactly how I imagined the coins.", then they'd be notable. Without some reason for this to be notable, it doesn't really belong. I hope you understand. :-) Look forward to seeing your edits in future. Skittle 15:10, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to World Wrestling Entertainment, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. I have nominated Weapon Brown, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Weapon Brown. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Robofish (talk) 00:12, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment about this - I don't mind the length, you made a good case. You've convinced me (in combination with the links provided by User:GRuban), and I've asked for the AFD nomination to be withdrawn. Happy editing. Robofish (talk) 19:05, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for File:Original_Paperback_Cover.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Original_Paperback_Cover.jpg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 12:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
