London Overground reversions

Hi. I have updated all of the articles with the latest information about the Overground line rebranding. A common issue is that people who have an interest in the railways think that everyone shares the same view as them. In actual fact the average person who views these articles will care predominantly about which service calls at a station; they will not care about the name of the physical track or the company that owns or built it. This can be (and usually is) mentioned further down the article in the history section, etc. A lot of other information was added/improvements made with these edits as well so please do not revert them again. Hi @Buttons0603, I agree the articles should be updated to reflect the new service branding. However, removing reference to the Lea Valley Lines (which "Weaver line" rightly just redirects to), or just moving it down to the history section isn't the way forward, hence my reverts. London Overground's recent naming of their Lea Valley service shouldn't divide these stations from the rest of the Lea Valley Lines network. The lines the stations are on and the services they receives should both be clear in the lead section. I'll try out some different wording which incorporates yours (apologies if my reverts undid some of your other edits) and take it from there! Waltforest (talk) 00:17, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
