Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to 2012 Egyptian presidential election. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 20:20, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Parliamentary diagrams

[edit]

Hello. Thanks for the new parliamentary diagrams for the Egyptian elections. It might be helpful to separate out the appointed members and vacant seats rather than having them the same colour as independents? For example File:Zambie Assemblée 2021.svg has the appointed members as white dots with black borders (although that might be more appropriate for vacant seats in this case). Perhaps black for appointed members?

Also, parliamentary diagrams aren't meant to go in infoboxes. See a recent discussion on that here. Cheers, Number 57 21:55, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the suggestion, I really appreciate you reaching out to me, and I will try to update the images as soon as possible! WalkingPie7 (talk) 13:11, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add an inappropriate image, as you did at Egyptian Social Democratic Party. Excuse me Vif12vf,
I DID NOT anything upload anything Inappropriate wither It's sexual material or any other material used for harassment on that page. And If I did post anything that evokes a Copyright violation (which I definitely did NOT do) then you can reach out to me and tell me that the file uploaded has a copyright violation. But do NOT falsely accuse me of posting Inappropriate material on that page. WalkingPie7 (talk) 13:22, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have not provided any proof of a license or a fair-use rationale on the file-page, and all party logos are in fact copyright material in some way, wether you like it or not! You also listed it as your own creation, which it is clearly not! You may not use the logo before you can provide proper proof that wikipedia indeed has permission to use it!
