A belated welcome!

[edit]
The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Vincentmayers. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! --Animalparty! (talk) 04:49, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Devnexus, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Devnexus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Vincentmayers. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Devnexus, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:17, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Bombardment. Overloading an article with citations isn't a guarantee of preventing its deletion. Also, many of your citations are to what appear to be blogs or other self-published sources, which won't be considered reliable.

Citations are supposed to be placed inline with the statements they support. Clustering citations together with no context is of no use to a reader. Please see Help:Footnotes.

Finally, you appear to have an affiliation with this topic, as per the message I left above. Please consult the plain and simple conflict of interest guide - and WP:PAID if you are being compensated for editing about this topic - before making any further edits. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:28, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Devnexus, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:35, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I give up, Wikipedia has defeated me. I tried to do a good thing and its way to confusing. Please delete Devnexus

I am sorry that you have become discouraged. You dived right in to article creation, which is one of the most difficult things to do on Wikipedia. New users who successfully created articles almost always first took some time to edit existing articles in subjects that interest them, in order to learn about how Wikipedia works. It looks like you did this some time ago, but I don't think you got nearly enough experience. If you are interested in being a Wikipedia contributor, I would suggest doing that along with using the tutorial at this link. If you are interested in writing an encyclopedic article, and have independent reliable sources to support the content of such an article, you should visit Articles for Creation to create and submit a draft for review and feedback. Please understand that such a draft can only include information in independent, third party sources. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:32, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
