Hi, I have just added my opinion to your AfD for Dog Poop Girl. I am concerned that this looks like a bad faith nomination of the article. You haven't given adequate grounds for deletion in your nomination and the article is well sourced and about a notable enough incident. I'm not sure why you chose this nomination as one of your first actions here at Wikipedia? Gwernol 13:19, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been a long time lurker here so I somewhat resent the implication that I'm some sort of troll. I was very careful to follow appropriate protocol and follow the procedure to the letter (which is very difficult, if I may state). If the community believes the article should stay, so be it. Thank you for your input. Vagabond997 13:24, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AmberMac

[edit]

Out of curiosity, where on ambermac.com did she request that her picture be changed? The one you added has only limited info as to its origin, and the caption is incorrect. In addition, the image that was there previously has been confirmed to be available under a compatible CC license and is more recent. — Yavoh 02:53, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize - my citation of source was incorrect. A correct sourcing is in her Jaiku stream which leads to her Flickr post: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ambermac/2116236426/ . The title of the picture indicates that she wants this to be her picture.
