Hi @Twinkle1990

You recently reviewed by Article for Creation Draft:Professor Jonathan Morgan, and determined that the subject did not meet the WP:NPROF criteria. Before your review, I set out on the Draft Page talk page why I thought that it did meet those criteria - would it be possible for a further explanation of why my stipulations are correct, so that I can find the sources that support the notability requirements, with a view of getting the article approved in the future.

Many thanks for your time and efforts in reviewing this article, BlondeRat (talk) 19:46, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

@BlondeRat none of the sources are independent and reliable as they are affiliated to Mr. Morgan. You should read WP:NACADEMIC.
Btw, how do you know Mr. Morgan? Twinkle1990 (talk) 09:04, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
@Twinkle1990
Ah, I see, that makes sense - the issue is that the criteria has not been proven with independent sources, that makes sense, thank you.
Without revealing personal information, he has taught me, but I have not met him personally (this reminded me to put a COI declaration, thank you - I have put it on my userpage, should it also be on the article, or is that fine?)
Thank you again for your continued help, BlondeRat (talk) 10:39, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
@BlondeRat I would recommend you to have a look at editing articles while in COI. Twinkle1990 (talk) 13:41, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
