Speedy deletion nomination of Boxline Automation
[edit]Hello TonyHuang,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Boxline Automation for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Orphaned non-free image File:Boxline Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Boxline Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:11, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Non-free image use
[edit]Hi TonyHuang. The licensing of each image you see on Wikipedia is determined by it copyright status and not every image file you see on Wikipedia is licensed the same. Some files are licensed as public domain or licensed under a free licensed suitable for Wikipedia and these are often collectively referred to as "free images". Other files are licensed as non-free content because of their copyright status and these file are commonly referred to as "non-free images". Non-free image use is highly restricted and each use of such an an image must satisfy Wikipedia's non-free image use policy. One of these restrictions is WP:NFCC#9, which says that non-free content can only be used in the article namespace. For this reason and as explained in WP:UP#Non-free files, non-free content such as File:Boxline Logo1.png, etc. cannot be used (i.e., displayed) in User:TonyHuang/sandbox. Perhaps you did not notice the edit sum I left the previous times I removed the image; therefore, I'm posting this here to provide more explanation.
Now it's quite possible that this file might actually be too simple to be eligible for copyright protection, at least in the United States where Wikipedia's servers are located. I'm trying to sort this out at the moment at WP:MCQ#File:Boxline Logo1.png, so in the meantime please do not re-add the file to your sandbox. -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:46, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

- Hi TonyHuang. This template was automatically added by a bot checking on non-free files, but you can ignore it since the licensing of the file has been changed from {{Non-free logo}} to {{PD-ineligible-USonly}} per the discussion at WP:MCQ# File:Boxline Logo1.png. If would be helpful, however, to know the actual source where you got this file because it appears to be slightly different from the one used at en

The article Boxline Automation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:CORP - one major source used three times is not even a page long; another barely mentions this company's industrial robots in context of province-wide business development, and several others cover minor industry awards themselves not notable on Wikipedia.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ☆ Bri (talk) 19:24, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
