Draft article

[edit]

Greetings, Tmdecelles, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you created a draft of a Dave's Picks Volume 52 article, and submitted it for review. My advice would be to try to add more references (i.e. footnotes) to the article, to show that the album meets the Wikipedia notability guideline: "A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." You can start by copying the reference that's in the Grateful Dead discography article. I also suggest adding the track listing -- you can get that from Discogs -- but that's a secondary point. The references are the key. (If you reply here, I will see what you say.) Mudwater (Talk) 02:16, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, Tmdecelles. It looks like you haven't made any edits on Wikipedia since submitting the draft of Dave's Picks Volume 52. I've gone ahead and expanded the draft. Most significantly, I've added several reliable, secondary references, to establish that the album is notable in the Wikipedia sense and therefore is suitable for a stand-alone article.

@Dan arndt: Hello! In light of the additional references, would you care to re-assess the draft for publication? I can click the Resubmit button if that helps. Mudwater (Talk) 23:23, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dan arndt: After pondering this further, I'm going to go ahead and move the draft to the main namespace myself. We should be good to go, now that appropriate references have been added. Thanks.
@Tmdecelles: Let me know if you have any questions or comments. (If you reply here, I will see what you say.) Mudwater (Talk) 12:32, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
