Speedy deletion nomination of Tholos tombs in the region of Pylos
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tholos tombs in the region of Pylos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.pylia.gr/en-us/The-Homeric-kingdom-of-Nestor/%CE%9F%CE%B9-%CE%B8%CE%BF%CE%BB%CF%89%CF%84%CE%BF%CE%AF-%CF%84%CE%AC%CF%86%CE%BF%CE%B9-en-US. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Regarding your message
[edit]Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text and has trouble accepting pre-existing text as well. From your message, I get the impression that you're editing on behalf of a group that's hired you. Is this the case? Ian.thomson (talk) 12:02, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- Ah. Shared accounts are strictly forbidden. Here's the standard template message about that:
Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Timeheritage", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 12:13, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ex voto of the Lacaedemonians
[edit]Hello Timeheritage,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ex voto of the Lacaedemonians for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Rollingcontributor (talk) 18:07, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Lila de Chaves moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Lila de Chaves. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Felida97 (talk) 18:43, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- Also, I know someone told you that 9 years ago already, but given that the person covered in this draft seems to be the founder and president of an organization called "Heritage and Museums" (and since you didn't reply to the message from 9 years ago), I want to reiterate the concerns regarding your username. So, here's the standard information on that again:
- Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Timeheritage", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
- Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 19:08, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- The name Timeheritage does not break any rules. It was adopted in 2015 as a significant name, since, in those days, it was an obligation for a heritage-related project to write articles on ancient Greek heritage and make them visible. I will improve the documentation and references, but I wouldn't like to change my name. Timeheritage (talk) 19:38, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
