[edit]No problem. Don't know if it's the best title, but it's better than before. May be worthwhile for you to create some redirects, e.g. for the sub-brand names. Lilac Soul (talk • contribs • count) 11:31, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
As much as I would LOVE to see an article about each of the models in the Cisco product line, the Cisco 7200 page is basically a word for word merge of the two Cisco pages listed in the references. Thomas Dzubin (talk) 14:11, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- (in reply to your comment on my talk page): Perhaps a good place to start would be one single article that lists ALL of the Cisco router models (800, 1800, 2800 etc) and then expand on each one. Then, if needed, a particular model could be broken out into its own page. (by the way, I configure Cisco routers for a living, so I'm happy to see things like this) Thomas Dzubin (talk) 14:19, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]What kind of a clown tags new articles on places with info boxes and a demographic chart as a speedy and "non notable"?? CLearly you don't know it all. Fine take them to afd but you'll learn within minutes all geographical locations are valid for an encyclopedia article ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:51, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
EWven has an official site and lots of info (in French on it) here. Regards ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:53, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
There is absolutely no reason why places like this can't become full articles eventually -this is how wikipedia has grown up. I would hope most would agree with me that we should counteract systematic bias on wikipedia by even coverage. Places in the US already have detailed articles on smaller places such as this -I think it is important to begin to address this. Amazingly the articles already exist on about 5 or 6 different wikipedias -we are lagging behind. If you like i'llmention taken from info from dutch and french wikipedias,. I know they don't look the best to start with but given time trust me it will all develop! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:58, 28 December 2007 (UTC).
Its OK I;ve sorted it. Just very surprised you tagged it as a speedy when it didn't meet that criteria. In future I would suggest using the {{unreferenced }} tag. Merry Christmas! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:59, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Look will you stop stalking me. Are you suggeasting that thousands of other "unneccessary" redirects are deleted from wikipeda like Lucas, George ? In case you didn't know it is for index purporses which any decent encyclopedia has by surname. Oh and get your signatiure right too -it doesn't even link to your talk page ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:26, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
If you are browsing through the index of the encyclopedia quite rightly Sablon should appear Here. Formal encyclopedias actually list their articles on people e.g as Sablon, Germaine anyway. If you looked it up in any encylopedia it would be under Sablon. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:32, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed you've put this article for speedy deletion, reason "Vanity.". I don't see any Vanity in that article (it's about a man who lived more than 300 years ago, as far as I can see). I've removed the tag from the article. If I am wrong (which is quite possible), please, put the tag back and tell me (on my talk page) where is vanity in that article, so I'd know in the future. Thanks a million. Peasantwarrior (talk) 14:22, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Alexandr Men redirect
[edit]I don't see why you deleted my redirect page Alexandr Men, with the only explanation "Redirected from Typogaphy error". First of all, it's not a typography error. There is a site www.alexandrmen.ru about him. In Russian, the name Alexandr (or Aleksandr) does not have an e after the d. The reason I made the redirect page was that that was the spelling I had been given, and it didn't work when I typed it. So I looked in the Russian Wikipedia under Александр Мень and thereby found that the English article on him spelled his name differently. So I made a redirect page to help others like me who might spell it the way I was told.
Second of all, even if I had made a redirect page from a miss-spelling of his name, that is something which is commonly done in Wikipedia, and it is quite helpful. EricK (talk) 21:25, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Adobemax2007.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Adobemax2007.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Fair use rationale for Image:Klasssickent.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Klasssickent.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
You've already nominated this article for deletion; theres' no need to speedy-tag it as well, and A1 doesn't apply, as this article has a fully understandable context, although it's short. I don't really get what you have against this article; Wikipedia has many geography stubs waiting to be expanded; but in any case, AfD is sufficient for it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:05, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Vanity?
[edit]I asked FisherQueen about vanity and speedy deletion... I guess we'll know the answer (probably on my talk page) in a couple of moments. Peasantwarrior (talk) 13:25, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I'm afraid I did not see the nonsense. Pedro declined the speedy while I was going through the history. I restored info that might assert notability. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 14:14, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Re: AfD Rubidoux High School
[edit]Hello Sydney!
I was just over at this AfD that you started. I tend to support deletion, but I was able to find some sources using a focused google search. Also, while one of the editors voicing opinion got on you for not seeing that the article had just been created, I thought I would be more polite and bring it up here. Maybe it is just me, but I would have given the article a little time to develop before listing it for deletion.
I hope your summer is going well! Peace! LonelyBeacon (talk) 09:21, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Bonafide Rojas
[edit]An editor has nominated Bonafide Rojas, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bonafide Rojas and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Please note the changes to this article (and discussion) since your AfD nomination, would you now consider this page for undeletion? Chris Huttonov (talk) 17:45, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
A reminder, it's helpful to add a welcome template of some sort to a newish user's talk page if you're the first person to speak there, before you leave the notice of a problem of some sort, as you did at User talk:KingSethos. This user answered you but did it out of order, and without signing, perhaps because no one ever explained how to use talk pages... adding a welcome might have avoided that issue. Another suggestion, when leaving messages you may want to go back and see what the user says... you never answered his replies. All the best! ++Lar: t/c 14:50, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article Turnerzworld, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 20:00, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Turnerzworldlogo.jpeg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Turnerzworldlogo.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 04:26, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Turnerzworld financial
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Turnerzworld financial, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Motto of the day
[edit]Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.
When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.
If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014
[edit]→ The house is on fire!
No, mother. It's just the Northern Lights.
Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.
Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- This message has been sent by pjoef on behalf of Motto of the Day to all editors of the English Wikipedia who are showing MOTD's templates on their pages, and to all the participants to MOTD: (page, template, and category).
