Isla Aves
The basis of the current rapport between Venezuela and Dominica is that the Dominicans concede Venezuelan ownership of Isla Aves. However the Dominicans do not concede that the boundary extends into the area of Dominican offshore claims beside the twelve mile area associated with a rock. The Dominicans receive aid from Venezuela and also maintain a fishing fleet which would be restricted if they could only fish out seventy miles.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.202.36 (talk) 13:46, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

Regarding User:192.12.88.147
I saw the message you left on User talk:192.12.88.147 prior to logging in. I'm logging in from a computer connected to the WiFi at Rutgers–Camden, specifically its graduate housing dormitory, so this is probably a shared IP. I'm not entirely sure what procedure is to tag an IP as a shared one, though. Lockesdonkey (talk) 22:18, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Teahouse invite for already-indeffed user?
You left one here: User talk:Bhim chauhan. It just seemed strange so I thought I'd mention it. If it's not strange, then I'm sorry for the intrusion.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 00:37, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Alf - take a look at the diff. It was actually just the Teahouse bot using my name (it cycles through them). It's a bit odd how it invited an indeffed user, tho. I'm on mobile now, or else I would do it, but perhaps bring it up at wt:TH? Thanks! Theopolisme 00:46, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Viking Moses
Hello Theopolisme. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Viking Moses, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article has been edited since it was tagged and is no longer a copyvio. Clare Perkins
Hi, I made the changes to the Claire Perkins page because I am Clare Perkins, firstly my name is spelt wrong, the info about how long I have been acting is wrong and lastly my daughter's name appears on the page, this is unacceptable as she is not in the public domain , what reliable source would you like? the information is about ME and it is wrong that is why I changed it, why is there no information on who started this page? the only source they quote is the magazine with the info about my new job, there is no source for the other material WHICH IS WRONG. (My daughter has special needs/learning difficulties and I do not want her name on the page, it is enough to mention that I have a daughter)
I only created an account to change the information , more info about my acting work or to verify can be found at my agents website Natasha Stevenson Management, casting callpro , spotlight or IMDB, sorry if I was supposed to leave this message somewhere else but i just wanted the information about me to be accurate.
Thanks,
Clare Perkins — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waterfromthesky (talk • contribs) 20:22, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Clare, thanks for letting me know! While I've fixed the issues involving the spelling of your name (as the source includes this), I'm afraid that I may not be able to assist with some of your other concerns. Firstly, as I'm sure you're away, IMDb can be edited by anyone. This means that it's not technically a reliable source for adding your filmography - does the production company have a website? Are there any press releases which state you were in the films? These are examples of good sources. Next, your daughter: if you have concerns about her inclusion in the article, these are the steps you should follow. I hope I've answered your questions - please let me know if you have any more! CVUA
Some serious suggestions for a total overhaul are now being made. In anticipation of the possible implementation of these changes, some things that could immediately help reduce the bureaucracy, would be to reduce the banter and the use of 'clerking' style micro templates. I have proposed one solution that puts the entire CVU 'school' on one single page, placing responsibility for project management at the hands of the 'active' trainers themselves, obviating any forms of secondary discussion. An updated draft is available at here. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:51, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

RE: Top 100 New Zealand Songs
Fair call on the name being inappropriate, could change that to be related to Nature's Best. The problem is that there is no place online that officially has it (I'll be damned if I can find it on APRA, the only two listings are a personal blog and a Christchurch library!). It's frequently referred to in relation to songs as well, which makes checking difficult (e.g. how do you tell a song was voted #33 when the track listing on Nature's Best 2 here starts from 1 again? Or what of interviewers saying that Dave Dobbyn contributed to 10% of the list?) I could merge it in with the main article, but need to figure out how to do it best. The list is separate from the CDs as far as I know.

Hey Theopolisme. This will be, if not our final newsletter, one of the final ones :). After months of churning away at this project, our final version (apart from a few tweaks and bugfixes) is now live. Changes between this and the last release include deletion tag logging, a centralised log, and fixes to things like edit summaries.
Hopefully you like what we've done with the place; suggestions for future work on it, complaints and bugs to the usual address :). We'll be holding a couple of office hours sessions, which I hope you'll all attend. Many thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 11:26, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

CVUA
Hi Theopolisme. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved with Counter-Vandalism, and may still be. The Academy project has been restructured, placing responsibility for it on the trainers themselves and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is still interested in remaining as active trainers.
In future, there will be no clerking or coordination, so If you are still active and can respond to requests from students within around 48 hours, you need do nothing until a new student contacts you on your talk page. Nevertheless, if your status changes, please update your entry on the table of active trainers at the new WP:CVUA page. If you no longer have sufficient time to commit to the CV training project, that's fine, but please remove your name from the active list. While on your travels however, should you come across users who are having a hard time with their reverts, don't hesitate to send them a link to the CVUA. Thanks, and happy editing! Stating that an article (such as Kadrige) is copied from "many varied sources -- see linkedin, their website, blog posts, etc." is not as helpful as it could be. The reviewing admin needs to look at the sources, see the match, and verify the licensing. Without the links, it requires some detective work, but presumably, you already did that. You can list multiple urls in the template. The alternative is to list some of the source on the talk page. --SPhilbrick(Talk) 11:52, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks -- and sorry. How do you list multiple URLs in the {{db-g12}} template? Theopolisme 22:02, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Not a problem. As for the question, I haven't actually done it, but I've seen it done, I think it is as simple as separating the urls with a space. (I just tested in my sandbox, and it seems to work).--SPhilbrick(Talk) 23:04, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Having said that, I see that it doesn't process the Duplication Detector properly. I personally would prefer to have the multiple urls, if the largest one is not enough to justify deletion on its own. I don't need the DD in the case of copy-pastes, but use it when the problem is close paraphrasing. However, I can set it up myself, so my preference would be to see the multiple urls. Some may feel differently, so if you get push back, feel free to blame me, and I'll take it up with them. It is relatively rare to need to review more than one url, so I'm not inclined to work out a technical solution allowing multiple urls and multiple DDs simultaneously.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 23:10, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, shall do. Thanks for the speedy response! Theopolisme 23:27, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Mood for a Day
When I read the stub of an article it told me almost nothing significant about the song and is one of the least known tracks from the album. Personally if "The Fish" wasn't so well written I probably would have asked for it's deletion as well, but Mood for a Day really shouldn't be an article. Yes, "Roundabout", "South Side of the Sky", "Long Distance Runaround", and "Heart of the Sunrise" need articles and are all well made, yes "The Fish" can stand an article and is well made. No, "Mood for a Day" really shouldn't have an article and was poorly made. Not a single, no cultural impact, poorly made article, article stub, not covered by many significant, and no awards. I know it's a great instrumental and I love it, but no minor Yes songs should not have articles. One more thing, if the song as important as "Starship Trooper" has no article, why should "Mood for a Day"? --Mrmoustache14 (talk) 21:50, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Mr. Moustache -- if you'd like, you can bring the article to WP:AfD ... the only reason I declined the speedy deletion was because WP:CSD#A9 is only for articles in which the artist's article doesn't exist. Theopolisme 22:03, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

THe version you hve is not accurate. Thought you might like to correct it
The version you have up is not accurate. It says i joined in 1968. I joined in 1966. Dave quinn was not even mentioned as joining in 1969 . The band disbanded in 1969 when myself,Dave Quinn and Gene started a new band. Just wanted to set the record straight. Petcre (talk) 00:48, 2 October 2012 (UTC) 2/10/2012
- I've attempted to correct it - let me know how it looks now. Theopolisme 00:56, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
Billerica, Massachusetts
The town nickname "Somerville with Trees" is as valid as the others and its inclusion on the town's page is not vandalism. I would thank you kindly to replace it or to enable me to do so myself. --24.147.75.237 (talk) 03:11, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
